About The Director
Mr. Carlson is a recent graduate of Illinois State
University, where he recieved a degree in music education. During his
time at Illinois State he played in many of the performing ensembles, from 5
years in the Big Red Marching Machine, all the way to the premier performing
wind ensemble, the Illinois State Wind Symphony. When he is not teaching Alex enjoys spending his time with
his new wife, and camping with his family.
